Matheus Soares

Matheus has over 15 years of experience in several countries in the areas of Forest Quality, Environment, Ecological Restoration and Sustainability. Matheus brings valuable experience working with multidisciplinary teams on the continuous improvement and implementation of environmental and sustainability processes.

He joined Silvipar in 2022. As the Sustainability Manager, he is responsible for FSC, ISO 9001 and Carbon certifications, and the implementation of the Sustainability Policy with full responsibility over its results and KPI management.

Matheus has a degree in Forest Engineering, an MBA, a Masters degree in European Forestry, from the University of Eastern Finland and University of Lleida. Matheus is currently studying Corporate Governance and Management for ESG practices. He is also fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
